WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading or eyebrow embroidery is a relatively new, manual method which does not use a normal Permanent Makeup (Tattoo) Machine. Microblading is becoming an incredibly popular treatment as more and more people like the fine results that it can offer. The pigment is implanted in the basal membrane which divides the epidermis from the Dermis layer of the skin. This technique is therefore more superficial than tattooing.

This amazing procedure suits people who ideally have an uneven brow shape, over tweezed, loss of hair that won’t grow back through medical reasons such as Alopecia or chemotherapy.

Microblading enhances client’s natural features, giving them more confidence in their overall appearance.

SOME SKIN TYPES THAT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR MICROBLADING:

  • Excessive Sebum/Oily Skin
  • Problem Skin Broken Capillaries
  • Acne
  • Mole
  • Keratosis
  • Seborrhoea Dermatitis
  • Very Dry/Peeling Skin

  • Consent forms will be emailed to you which must be completed and emailed back or brought with you to your consultation.
  • Patch Test may be required before your procedure

DURING THE CONSULTATION

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your treatment time. Late arrival can lead to your treatment being postponed to another day.
  • Before the procedure, a photo (upon your approval) will be taken of you for the before and after.
  • Sterile, hygienic pads are used to disinfect and cleanse the brow area.
  • A specialized pencil is used to draw the desired brow shaped on to your skin.
  • Sterile Microblading tool with a disposable blade is used during your procedure.
  • We use LI Pigments that is specially manufactured for Micropigmentation.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Depending on how well you take care of your new microbladed eyebrows during the heeling process, they should last for between 1 and 3 Years.

WILL IT HURT?
Most clients feel none to some discomfort. At the beginning of your treatment you will feel a numbing, scratching sensation during the few first pass while marking the shape and design of the brow with the Microblading tool. More numbing anesthetic is applied during the procedure which is absorbed into the skin within a few seconds. This allows the procedure to be done almost in an effortless way.

AFTER CARE
You will receive after care instructions on how to care for your brows and products to take home with you during the initial healing period.

TOUCH UPS
You will need to return for your touch up treatment no later than 4-6 weeks after treatment. To avoid additional charges please give a minimum of 24 hours for any cancelled appointments.

All skin types heals differently and most clients develop patchy areas or the appearance of fading after the first treatment. It is important to understand that this is a “two part” process and that a “Touch Up” Treatment is necessary to achieve the final results.

Patience is the key when it comes to the healing process and final results.
